Our next gig is on 21st Oct 2007 at 20:00 at The Old Angel, Nottingham
Back in the studio! Well, pretty much what it says on the tin, we're back in the studio working on our new EP, hopefully we're going to have four fresh tracks available to buy soon, keep an eye here!
_________________________________________________________________
New Material! We've got one somg completed now and are in the final stages of finishing another. Hopefully this new material will be tight enough to play at the Old Angel on the 12th. Hope to see you there!
_________________________________________________________________
Thursday! Thanks to everyone that showed up, we had a really good
time. Unfortunately we couldn't stay to watch the last band, but Black Lodge and
Numb were both good to watch. We hope everyone had a good time and hope
to see y'all on the 12th of October.
_________________________________________________________________
Break! We're currently taking a short break from gigs to concentrate on
writing (we're already rounding off the finishing touches on the first of several we
plan on writing), but DON'T DESPAIR!! We have two gigs coming up in this break.
The 13th of Sept, we're going to be at the Maze in Nottingham, then on the 12th
of October we're going to be back at our old hang-out, The Old Angel, playing
with Profane, an awesome band that're worth catching.
_________________________________________________________________
Freedom of Life: Wow, there's not much else to say about this, everyone
was great, all the bands were spot on, all the volunteers at the event were patient
and helpful and the crowd showed great entheusiasm for both the music, and the
event as a whole.

West Memphis Three Gig: Thanks to everyone that showed up to watch us
here and the support that the organisers got, I hope everyone enjoyed the gig, I
know we did.
_________________________________________________________________
E-merch is now available! We're currently selling our "Jesus Listens to Epoche"
t-shirts (complete with Jesus on the back) for £8 and MRS NERG and This
Burning Skyline EPs are both available at £2 each.
We're also working on new material, we've got some interesting stuff coming up,
influenced by samba and other very odd (in comparison to what we usually play)
music. Not a complete change of style, but it works well in our set! Trust us..
_________________________________________________________________
After getting through to the semi-finals of End of the Trail Records' battle of the
bands, we went out in a blaze of glory. Noone had anything but good remarks to say
to us, thanks for all the support we recieved from everyone present at the gigs and
that helped organise and support the event.
_________________________________________________________________
We're back from GERMANY! A very good tour, thanks to all the help that we got
setting up and the support that we got while we were out there, not to mention the
people thinking of us back home. All the bands we played with were excellent and we
can't fault any part of the tour. Special thanks to: The Mertzens for dealing with us
staying at your house for the duration of the tour and the bands that we played with:
Giest, Sick Inside, Cyrcus (although it fell through, thanks for the support you
showed).

The ongoing Epoche drummer Saga…….
On the 4th August Max (tom) Jepson is set
to play his last gig with Epoche. He’s leaving
to pursue new challenges in his life and
leaves on good terms with every member.
Epoche on behalf of themselves and the fans
would like to take the opportunity to thank
him for his ongoing support and enthusiasm.
Which leads us to……
A NEW OPERTUNATY
We are looking for someone to fill the role.
We need a committed musician who thinks
outside the box and isn’t afraid to create
something he doesn’t fully understand. For
those among you who don’t know we are
based in Nottingham.
Our sound is one of the convoluted song
structures of The Mars Volta and discordant
melodies of Nirvana. A wide knowledge of
melody and rhythm are required to fill the role.
We work and play hard and pour everything we
have into the music we make. We are looking
for someone who’s willing to take an active
role in this process.

Influances included: Tool – Deftones – Incubus –
APC – Oceansize – Soundgarden – RATM –
Alice in chains – Jeff Buckley – Faith No More
We have a bulk of material written and recorded
and gig regularly, this regular gigging will
increase as interest is being shown in the band
outside Notts. The work load will be heavy but
equally rewarding.
Some of our music can be viewed @
www.myspace.com/epochemusic
or
www.epoche.co.uk/music.php
Anyone interested in filling this role should contact
Phil – 07713148695
Or email
info@epoche.co.uk

Hello fans and friends. 1st of all:
A big sorry about the recent cancelations
of the gigs at The Town Mill and the Firebug
and our recent German dates. This was
due to unforscene illness and steps are
in place to reschedual (where logistics
allow).
We'd also like to say a big Thank you
to everyone who was going to help
us out with accomadation and transport
on the Germany dates. The band
members who faild to attend sorely
missed your company. We hope
you are all well.
On a brighter note though we are
now back ta the helm and have alot of
new matterial to showcase. Also Leeds
band Monkey Toast have confirmed for
the 15th july date at The Angel.
We look forward to seeing you there....

Hey Hey there. We just did a Photo shoot

In Other News.....
FINALLY.....We've done our myspace..
The Address is....
www.myspace.com/epochemusic
So get online en check it out. Theres are couple of tracks
on there, yea i know they should be on here but we're
experiancing a few "technicle difficultys"...

Also, check out this month's Saggy-Pants for
a review of the gig on the 9th of December at
The Old Angel and The Lust For The Odessa EP.
And of course, the singer from Nottingham's
best band is on the cover.
Taken from January's Saggy-Pants:
"Coming back from a long break and with
assured confidence in their new line-up,
they waste no time and plough head-long
into their set, letting dirty grunge riffs spew
from both guitars. An Americana hard rock
edge peeks through in the clean sections with
the dark, complex basslines woven subtly into
the sound."

The gig on Friday the 9th dec was
awesome, many thanks to the fans
and media that came down to
support us. A great night was had
by all involved.
The EP has gone down well with fans
(check out the forms to read reviews
or leave your own). A review will be
available in January's issue of
saggy pants, along with a gig review
and interview.
Also got interveiwed by the Evening
Post.
<-- Check it out! We're famous!!
